The tale of the Gurkenprinz

The Gurkenprinz spent many years looking for paradise. He dreamt of a land where the sun warmed the soil awakening the people’s joy of life. Where the rain provided lush green so the fruit could enjoy the best upbringing. When finally his path led him to Burgenland he knew immediately: He had reached his destination. The sun and the clouds nodded and formed a rainbow.

The Gurkenprinz then went to work. The peppers curiously peeked from their leafy houses in the soil with the red-hot ones giggling particularly fresh. The Gurkenprinz plucked them carefully, just like the small cucumbers that grew nimbly as if in competition. He filled these treasures into jars and sealed them with pretty lids. He had added natural ingredients before, personally picked from the herb garden and marinated carefully, to give the sumptuous produce that unmistakable taste.

Filled with pride the Gurkenprinz now looked at the small jars filled with tart and spicy delicacies. Every single one a greeting from paradise. Enjoy the richness of nature with all your senses.
